Hi Guys,
I am new here, just applied. I just going to 9th grade in a special admission high school. I want to get 2300+ on the SAT. I am aiming for 2400, for safety. Tell me what to do to prepare for this. I have the light blue collegeboard SAT practice tests book, I got it just today. I have a book called 'The Unofficial SAT word dictionary, which houses about 3000 vocab words, and 6000 sentences. I have quite a supply of index cards and writing Utensils. Now… tell me, EVERYTHING I need to know!!! jk. Can you guys help me out? Thanks.

You should start your preparation by taking a practice test from the “blue book.” Try to take it in one sitting, and don’t cheat. After completing this test, score it according to the scoring guidelines in the back of the book. Mark down all the questions you got wrong and keep note of your score. After this test, you will have an idea of your current performance level. 2300+ is very difficult, and if you only score say a 1600 on the diagnostic, don’t be discouraged, but use that baseline to set a reasonable goal, like a 1900 or 2000.
