PrepScholar 5 day free trial question

DS is using Thanksgiving break to do the 5 day free trial. Of course, I had to put in credit card info to start the process. If he chooses not to continue, do I need to cancel? I cannot find that on the website and would rather not pay for something he has chosen not to use. Day 5 is 11/30.

Virtually anytime you enter your credit card info for a trial, the subscription will continue until you cancel. Contact them to see about canceling. Prep Scholar states the following :

“If you are buying a product that advertises “Free Trial” and not a “Risk-Free Trial” then you will not be charged until your free trial period ends. You are able to cancel at any time by emailing <a href="mailto:admin@prepscholar.com”>admin@prepscholar.com with the subject “Refund Request”. Your free trial period lasts 5 days (120 hours). PrepScholar grants you a grace period before the free trial: the free trial period does not start until the account submits the diagnostic test or 15 days (360 hours) have passed since the submission of payment information. In other words, the free trial period ends the earlier of 1) when the account submits the diagnostic test plus 5 days, or 2) 20 days (480 hours) from payment information submission. All account cancellation emails will be processed in accordance with the received timestamp on your email (as recorded by our third-party servers)."

Thanks! Can you tell me where you found it? I’m usually pretty good about finding things and this one eluded me.

DS has decided to stick with PrepScholar. Given I was not successful in finding the free trial policy, I am wondering what I am missing about the usage policy. My DS is taking the ACT on 12/13, if he does not achieve the score he wants will he be able to continue his PrepScholar use at a later date or will we need to pay for another “session”?

@Cheeringsection Did your DS find that program helpful? According to the site, you paid for one year of access to the online prep so you do not need to pay for another session.

My child used PrepScholar for the SAT. We were very satisfied with the program.

@2016collegebound‌ we will see how helpful it was once we get scores in about two weeks. I am not sure how much time he invested before this attempt but we have sources of an expected score and a target score. Good to know that he has access for a year.
