<p>I changed my major to Informatics last spring and am planning on tagging to UCI this fall. The only prereq I needed take prior to the 2012-13 school year was Statistics. But upon checking Assist.org, a number of classes have been added, 2 of which I will not be able to take before Spring 2013 (due to these classes requiring completion of other classes). Will these new changes affect me? It doesn’t seem very fair if I have to complete these classes, which will set me back another year. Anyone have any thoughts?</p>
<p>Why wouldn’t it affect you? Pre-reqs are pre-reqs. That said, you can be accepted with some missing, it just means it might take longer at the UC to graduate since you’ll have to take more classes there.</p>
