<p>Yes. A “pre-med major” is NOT a pre-req for medical school – only that you do the required courses. You can be any major at all.<br>
This is a true story – I was a biology major, planning on going to grad school. To cover all my bases, I took the MCAT in my junior year. After a summer of microbiolgy/biochemistry research, I realized I couldn’t see myself in a lab. I applied to med school. The pre-med advisor didn’t even know who I was.
