I’ll be applying to UCLA for the Fall 10 semester as a Physiological Science major. Unfortunately, I won’t be finished with all of the prerequisite courses by that time. However, the mandatory courses: year of calculus, general chem, biology, and one semester of organic chemistry will all be completed by the spring prior to transfer. My CC counselor says I have no shot of getting in unless I complete the additional semesters of Physics and Organic chemistry. I could technically finish it all by spring but It would most likely hurt my GPA, and I’d rather not risk it.

Also, after looking at [UCLA Undergrad Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/Adm_tr/Tr_Prof08_mjr.htm;) the Physiological science major has no asterisk, implying that its not competitive? (Assist.org says otherwise) the average gpa admitted for Physiological sciences was 3.49 in Fall 08. So, assuming I have a ~3.6 gpa by the spring prior to transfer, with TAP, would I still stand a good chance of admission?
