Why is the Liberal Arts school at A&M considered bad?

Who considers it bad? I have never heard that before.

idk, some site with reviews about the university stated that A&M was excellent in engineering but lacked signifigantly in the liberal arts department?

Historically it has been weaker because the university was focused on- you guessed it- agriculture and mechanics. But because of Dr Gates’s new faculty hires and some money from wealthy alumni like the Glasscocks, it’s becoming much stronger. I have taken many of my classes Honors and have been very impressed by the professors, the quality of the class, and the size. I sat in on some classes at private universities, and A&M’s have been as good or better.

Thanks for the reply!
