The Presidential Merit Scholarship is awarded based on SAT score and GPA. My daughter has an unweighted GPA of 3.84 and an SAT of 1250. According to their information that should make her eligible for $4000/year. Her acceptance only offered her $2000. When she questioned the admissions counselor about this the AC said she will get my daughter’s GPA recalculated. What does this mean? I cannot find on their website that unweighted GPAs are recalculated using certain criteria. Can anyone offer assistance with this?
Finally heard back from admissions. They recalculated her GPA resulting in the GPA adjustment & the scholarship level we originally thought she would receive.
