<p>To start off, sorry if this is not the right place to post this question.
For anyone that knows the forms that you have to fill out for the Presidential Scholarship program, there is a section that you have to fill in to honor a teacher and there is another section that you have to get an educator to recommend you, my question is, do they necessarily have to be the same person?

<p>I don’t believe they have to be, but I would assume that the teacher you would want writing your recommendation is one who influenced you greatly. I know it is for me.</p>
<p>But to answer your question, it can be a different person. The rec can also be written by your guidance counselor.</p>
