<p>Thank you for the fast response. I believe the award has changed from previous years. The letter states, “PAP recipients will receive $5,000 per year for a total of $20,000 and additional financial aid may also be available.” So it is now $5,000 without consideration of need, then possibly more. I didn’t attend the lunch, but my wife said the president indicated that the award has been increased for 2012.</p>
<p>The letter did say something about in order to receive full consideration for the PAP scholarship for UIUC the application (I assume is the application for admission and not for the scholarship, as I am not aware of such an application) must be received by Jan. 2. So I assume they don’t make final decisions until at least then…do you have any knowledge as to when?</p>
