Pretty Magnanimous Question Considering 20 Points

I like that word from that Geico commercial and it makes no sense where I put it but I figured you would all come in here all huffy puffy about my misuse of your precious SAT word, so WOOHOO.

Okay, now here is my predicament ladies and gentlemen.

I have an SAT superscore of 1980. It consists of 710 points of Math scoring units, 650 ones of that English diddly and then I wrote 620 points.

I want an SAT superscore of 2000. I don’t really care if I achieve the prestigious award of 640 points on the written activity section or a 730 in the Math compartment, I just want 20 more points. I would even take 6.34 points extra on each section but I’ve heard this is unachievable.

But should I take the SATs and hope that I gain 20 points without prepping at all, or should I try my luck on the ACTs? Or can I do both?

This post has been exceptionally bad at purveying my question, thank you though for looking and potentially even answering.

Yeah go for it. Study a few vocab words, and some math strategies. 20 pts is no problem.

make sure u dont go lower LOL

20 points depends on your state during the day.
make sure to get lots of sleep the day before, and be sure to eat dark chocolate+water just before the test. it works really really well.
that’s how i got my 800’s. (of course, this isn’t the only reason, but it’s better than eating sleeping pills during the test)

dark chocolate and water? i might have to try that.

Have you ever heard of N.O. Xplode? It’s a dietary supplement that’s supposed to be used before you lift weights. It makes you concentrate more somehow, I’m no scientist, but it works. I drank it one time before school cause I must have had a test that day and I swear I could not stop working until it wore off. I was in Bio class and I just remember doing every last bit of work in a class that I usually did nothing for, it was amazing. I was gonna take it before the June SATs but I realized I had run out of it haha.

I’m wondering if by any chance any of you guys have tried it or even heard of it.

Never heard of the magic weight lifting potion, but I always eat strawberries and a piece of bread beforehand and bring a mint, water bottle, and bag of apple slices to the test.

If you want to study a little, go for the vocab words. I would suggest taking a class. That’s really the only sure way to raise your score, even if it’s just 20 points. Honestly, your scores have a good chance of going down 20 points instead of up 20 points if you don’t do any preparation.
