<p>How is it that one’s belongings are protected at all times (or at least most of the time)? It seems that it is very likely for a roommate or his/her friends to easily access your stuff. Or say they accidentally forget to lock the dorm door. I was just wondering how people deal(t) with this issue.</p>
<p>It can happen…but you should be able to trust your roommate…if not then talk to your RA about that. I don’t know of anyone who had their roommate steal their stuff. Idunno about the accidentally forgetting to lock the door part…talk to your RA about that policy. Most likely, this won’t be any kind of issue so don’t worry about it.</p>

<p>Your roommate and you will both be in the same situation. You’ll just have to trust each other and don’t be so paranoid.</p>
