Hello,
I am in Italian student in Math engineering, due to graduate in 2015 from Politecnico di Milano (one of three European top three colleges for engineering), who would like to move to the US for grad school/probably for life. I was an exchange student in California in 2010 and fell in love with american lifestyle and country in general, so here I am with a few questions! :-)

1- is perfectly speaking a third language (German) something in my favor when applications are evaluated? what about in getting a job there?

2-is having run a decently successful (pays my bills) startup company since age 20 something massively useful for college enrollment, as I have sometimes being told?

3-what about previous work experience? Since I
d like to work in a bigger company and be able to pay for my college fee, I ll probably sell my startup stack and move to germany for a few years (massive wages there), applying for grad school in the usa at like age 26 or 27 is feasible or I
ll be considered “too old”?

4- what are my chances of being hired by a US company right after completing grad school there? Will the previous work experience help me proving that I am a hard working guy? I may need that since hiring a foreigner is kind of a bureaucratic hassle…

5- what about the fact that it took me 5 years instead of standard 3 to complete my bachelor, due to the fact that I was working in my company? Is taht a no-no or no-one-cares-as-long-as-you-properly-graduated?

Thankyou very much ;)
