price of a gallon of gas in your state "today"

Now that we’re officially MA residents, all I know is gas is cheaper than it was in CT! Something to celebrate – along with a MUCH quicker/nicer experience at the MA Registry of Motor Vehicles than I ever had in CT, (But I digress…)

We’re at our second home in NC. Got gas yesterday It was $3.58. When we left home on Tues. (also in NC) it was $3.68 there. It’s funny how much it varies from one part of the state to another.

Reg was $3.77 yesterday in upstate NY but I paid $3.37 with my market’s gas program.

Just paid $3.33 in KY to fill the car. Gas was $3.43 and got $.10 off using Wal-Mart cash card.

Regular $3.19 Lake Dallas (N of Dallas). $3.18 Oklahoma City.

Driving across Maine today, I saw prices ranging from $3.62 (interior part of the state) to $3.80 (along the coast).

Mississippi - $3.37 gallon regular

Portland ME area: $3.77.

San Jose, Ca: A couple weeks ago I managed to find a station that was $3.57. Today the same one was $3.83.

Gas at the corner station is $4.29 for regular.
Cheaper is arco by a few cents but every time I buy their gas my check engine light comes on.:frowning:

& Costco unfortunately is about 40 minutes out of my way- I have been trying to think of something else I need. A flat of paper towels? Video games? Socks? An iced mocha? That sounds good actually…

$3.65/gal for self-serve, regular unleaded today in NH…near MA border.

Even if you have to pay a little more at the local corner gas station, that’s gotta be better than pushing your car for 40 minutes to get gas cheaper!

Tampa today at RaceTrac gas is $3.449/gal. Gal. of milk today at Wal-Mart was $3.48.

Last I paid was $3.71 in NH near the MA border. This wasn’t the cheapest station though. The cheapest station is about a mile away and I usually only go there when I have a reason to be in that part of town.

A very convenient station on the way to work is $3.83 so there are wide variances.

I’ve thought that gas prices were nuts given the inventory levels and this has been my thinking for quite some time. It’s nice that prices finally caught up with inventory reality.

The price of gas in my town today is $4.14 a gallon for regular.

$3.78 home, $3.98 near my work.

$3.799 for gas, but this is Wisconsin so milk at the grocery store is $2.59 a gallon for the store brand- but this week there’s a coupon for $1.48 for one gallon only if I buy $5 worth of noncoupon groceries. Gas prices fluctuate weekly- $3.899 recently.

$3.54 and $3.64 near me. Of course, I bypassed the $3.54 the other day since I was sure it would be the same at my highway exit and I paid $3.64. For some reason, that really bothers me, even though the convenience was probably worth the $1.70 extra I paid for the tank!

Its a senseless thread, if the post is a day/week/month old, the prices will not be valid anyhow.

Why I restarted it was because a recent article posted that my area is about $.43 higher a gal than elsewhere, and it makes me mad.
We don’t drive much, but are going up to visit our d for parents weekend and I didn’t want to have to get a loan.

^^ You can pay twice as much by driving to gas up in Canada…
