Most application fees are $250. So if i applied to the top 10 list, how much would that run me about? Sending transcripts, scores, and etc. Do some schools go below the $250 range.

This isn’t like applying to UG, especially with the common app, but even without it. The effort involved in completing one app for MBA is much more onerous with all the specific essay questions. Plus, it’s not like you have to go in any certain year (or at all) that you really need to have anything like safety/match/reach, which makes the numbers greater. Also, I would think if you’re applying to 10 schools that it would be especially difficult to do the “why this school?” essay questions. I have never heard of anyone doing more than six applications and most of my friends did 3-4. I think sending transcripts was $10 each and depending what schools you have already sent your scores to from the 4-5 allotted free ones, I think each additional score request was also $10.

AMGLeague, most MBA applicants apply to only 3-5 schools because it’s very costly. Choose a school with a strong program in your field (general management, finance, strategy, etc.)

It is mainly costly from a time perspective. Hopefull you have plenty of people who will give you good recommendations because it would be a hassle for someone to create 10 of them.
