primary language spoken at home--quick question

At home my mom speaks to me in Finnish. I, however, only understand but do not really speak Finnish, so I respond in English. Should I answer Finnish for this question, or leave it blank? I know it probably doesn’t matter, but I’ve heard this sort of multiculturalism is looked at positively, and I don’t know where else I’d mention it.

thanks!

also, unrelated question:

with whom do you make your permanent home?
I split time equally between my mom and dad. What should i say? I assume I should say both parents, even though they don’t live together. Anyone else been in this situation?

also, another unrelated question:

can someone help me find where to submit my arts supplement at commonapp.org? It says that I need to declare it on future plans, but I don’t see where to do that…

Which house is your legal residence? That’s your answer. You can explain your situation elsewhere, if you think it’s important.

As for the Finnish thing, why not write in Finnish and explain the situation elsewhere.

On the “Writing” page, there’s a box for “additional information” that might be helpful for your situation.

If you are having trouble with the art supplement directions, just submit a help ticket through Common App.
