My concern is that if I were to buy something, for someone else for Christmas, I have less than 30 days to return it.
Unless I specify that it’s on that person‘s gift registry, my limit is 30 days. There are some things I would like to get, but I don’t need them. I would rather not spend the money now just because they’re having a sale that isn’t that great.
From their return policy, I copied this:
90 days | |
---|---|
-
Select Amazon Renewed products in “Acceptable,” “Good,” or “Excellent” condition types.
-
Most nonperishable Baby products
-
Items purchased from an Amazon Birthday and/or Custom Gift List by someone other than the registry owner.
-
Mattresses (excluding crib mattresses)
Their typical policy is 30 days, and knowing how difficult it can be to talk to customer support, I don’t trust that it’s 90 day policy would include the items I’ve selected for others.
Like @Marilyn, I too, ordered some household items, but they weren’t any better on sale. I just ordered them for the convenience of being delivered, and my not having to go around town, getting everything on my list.
