Hey! So I’m on the great college hunt and am considering Princeton. One reason is because they don’t have a huge Greek life. However, I’m concerned that the eating clubs might be similar. I was looking up alternatives and found the 2 Dickinson Co-op, but there’s not a ton of information on it. I know it’s a vegetarian co-op–is it super hippie/crunchy? Do members have a social life since they aren’t in an eating club? Finally, how do you even get in?
Thanks a lot!

Hi there!

You might be better off asking this in the Dickinson forum: <a href=“Dickinson College - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/dickinson-college/

From what I’ve heard a lot of co-ops are generally on the hippier side, but that might not necessarily be a bad thing. Best of luck!

I think they are talking about a Dining Co-op at Princeton.

<a href=“Two Dickinson Street Co-op - Wikipedia”>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_Dickinson_Street_Co-op

It says that people live in the house so that would be the social life much like at a Dining Club.

Perhaps contact people in the co-op and see what they think?

I would also suggest asking in the Princeton forum.
