Princeton 2014 Hopefuls: Let's get to know each other!

I feel an orphan searching for a home…Yale put me on hold, so I’m moving on. Hopefully Princeton will like us better. :)

^^
haha, im joining this home too! i do love princeton… <3

Pton <3 I have officially been thinking about my main essay for a month.

dittooooo
sad story =[

Haha I kinda feel that way. Though, I hated Yale and pritty much applied there cuz it was the only one of the HYP that I could apply early to. Regardless, Pton has always been my dream school and I will be truly crushed if/when I don’t get in.

Exactly 100 days 'til we hear from Princeton!!!

^ i’m effing tired of countdowns now

nooooo not again.
remember what we went through with yale??? face to keyboard

Haha, I don’t mean to incite a countdown. Just saying that there are 100 days left. I’m hoping to not start actually counting 'til there’s 20 days or so left.

By the way, I’m officially over Yale now. Princeton is 999999x better.

^How did you get over Yale so fast? Haha.
Would you like to help me and enlighten me on how to decrease my attraction towards Yale 999999-fold? :p

think really really hard about princeton

Submitting the supplement after the 15th is no biggie, right?

Also, how long should the summer activities essay be? Seems to me as though they are giving us way too much space.

I don’t know… I want to be a biologist, but I’m turned off by Princeton’s lack of a general biology program…

Powerbomb: Submitting the supplement a bit late shouldn’t be a problem as long as you submit your best effort. If you’re good enough, they’ll take you anyway ^_^

I don’t know why I’m stalking the Princeton thread, since I’m not even applying… I guess I have a lot of free time since the acceptance. I feel empty :S Best of luck guys :D

Haha, if I had gotten in on the 15th, this college journey would have just been too easy. Probably would have no motivation to work at school, nothing to get me to complete other apps, then get abysmal grades and be rescinded. And never get a chance at P-ton. Kind of glad that didn’t happen :D

100 days seems so far away… Much longer than the 45 days we had to wait out…

Because college journies only entail applying to college, and not working 4 years to build up your application. :p

Touche. :]

Ok, new question: Are you guys planning to still get backpacks for college? Or opt for messenger bags? I’m thinking it would be kind of ridiculous to lug around a 40 lb backpack (like in HS) when you only have a class or two to go to everyday, with large breaks in between. I mean, a few books, a laptop, some pens…what else could you need?

Lol, I certainly don’t know how it’s usually done in college, and I don’t want to be the odd one out carrying a bulky backpack when everyone else is oh so stylish… Sooo, any thoughts? [this is probably a dumb question now that I’ve written it out.]

tristan: i plan on training a monkey to carry all of my things for me. if the monkey doesn’t work out, i’ll try using my roommate.

I think I’m going to use the backpack. I’ve grown fond of backpacks through the years, and I don’t like the lopsidedness of messenger bags. They definitely look cooler though.

go princeton! hopefully, people here are cool.

i feel so lost being denied from Stanford. I need a new niche, perhaps, princeton!

anyways, where are guys from?

alternate between backpacks and messenger bags for style!! haha. maybe. :stuck_out_tongue: Not sure yet. There probably isn’t enough room to keep a bunch of bags.

I’m from Joisey, but from the north, not very near Princeton. When I visited, i noted that Princeton is a really great town, though. tranquil atmosphere, welcoming, just busy enough.
