<p>Yay! I am pretty much over yale deferral after reading all this :). I remember not liking how random streets ran through the campus at Yale. I would hate to have to think about crossing streets when just walking to class across campus.</p>
<p>Haha hooray! 
I’m just trying to think of ALLL the things I didn’t like about Yale. At first I thought it was just me who didn’t find the campus to be all that gorgeous, but now I know I’m not out of my mind, :D</p>
<p>I mean: </p>
<p>Yale’s big Harkness tower looks much better in pictures, to tell you the truth. In real life, it’s kind of yellow-ish… Plus, buildings seemed kinda random, it was like, where am I? lol. And murdered grad students is not good… I hear the only safety/danger problem P-ton had in years was this summer when there was a campus-wide alert for a “Gun Threat”, which was later determined to be a kid running around with a squirt gun…</p>
<p>Princeton also has “the bent spoon” which is BY FAR the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted.</p>
<p>^ I’m over the Yale deferral too. Turns out I never really liked the school that much anyway (true fact, not just my pretending that I don’t like it simply because of the decision).</p>

<p>If you live near Princeton you should go see at at night during the holidays. They have a HUGE tree lit up in the center of town and luminaries line all of the streets. It’s so pretty.</p>

<p>lol. I got rejected by Penn ED SEAS…ah well, going for Princeton, mostly because it’s part of a deal with my parents XD</p>
<p>^ lol got something of the same situation. I think my mom wants to go to Princeton more than I do, and I’m sort of applying because of her. Don’t get me wrong, I think the school is AM-AZING! I just find it funny how hyped my mom is about it haha</p>

<p>Mmmm sounds good Are there a lot of restaurants nearby? I believe we went to Witherspoon Cafe when we visited and it seemed a little overpriced, but good nonetheless. </p>
<p>For current students, how do you feel about P-ton’s academic calender? Especially how finals are after break and school gets out later for summer?</p>

<p>Hmm. I’m not sure I have a “hook,” but I have a demonstrated passion in medicine. I have hundreds of volunteer hours at The Children’s Hospital, worked as a research assistant for a summer, did my own research, was president of Pre-Med/Pre-Vet Club, and stuff like that. My essays talked a lot about my passion too, like my history with medicine (I’m epileptic and have been involved in the medical process in many ways), and another essay talked about my research experience and my love of science/research and all that. What about you, and anyone else who would like to share?</p>
<p>I play a shortage instrument in orchestra (both state and national levels). Hopefully Princeton needs some of us this year!
