[Radioactive Manhattan Project Records and Archival Serendipity (Mudd Manuscript Library Blog)](http://blogs.princeton.edu/mudd/2009/07/radioactive_manhattan_project.html)

Recently discovered in the Princeton Chemistry Department and now transferred to the University archives . . . a radioactive filing cabinet! The filing cabinet and its once top secret contents date to the time of Princeton’s involvement in the Manhattan Project, the secret WWII project to develop an atomic bomb. This is an interesting bit of history but rest assured–you won’t glow in the dark if you study in the library.
