Princeton Alumni Interview for class 2020

Hey everyone,

I received an email from a Princeton alumnus asking to participate in a Skype or phone interview. I’m excited but at the same time not getting my hopes up. I’m a female looking to get into their computer science program. I created a website at the age 14 (with limited knowledge) and wondering if I should talk about my project even if she doesn’t ask about it. It’s important to me, and it’s what I’d like to see grow someday. I don’t want to appear pushy but I really want the school to know how much work I’ve put into my project and the joy it has brought to me and my members.

Would love to hear your feeback. Thanks

Of course you can talk about it, but prepare for the possibility that your interviewer may have concentrated in Slavic Languages or Near Eastern Studies!

Interviewers want to know what you’re interested in, so definitely try to talk about it. As an interviewer, I love hearing about what students are excited about. The point is to get to know you better, and if this is important to you then you should bring it up.
