Princeton and Princeton Review

Random Question: Are princeton and the princeton review/collegeboard connected?

all my friends think they are… hence.

here’s how most of my conversations went (the general masses don’t know where princeton is… they know new jersey… but not quite sure)

friend: “yo, congrats on princeton… maybe you’ll be famous someday”
me: “yeah, probably. thanks”
friend: “only thing I know about Princeton is that they issue the Princeton Review”
me: “i don’t think they are related”
friend: “oh… well, where is Princeton located anyway?”
me: “princeton, new jersey… equidistance from new york city and philadelphia”

i know you could say princeton junction townsborough or something, but princeton, nj pwnz

No, they aren’t. Princeton Review can use the name because Princeton is a town, so Princeton U can’t claim the name.

princeton and princeton review are not ‘connected,’ just as princeton review and collegeboard aren’t.

the princeton review and ETS meet in the town of princeton to write test questions. sometimes. It’s not directly associated with the school.
