Princeton app - how do they establish a file?

Hey guys,

I sent my Arts Supplement 2 weeks ago as they required, but unlike some schools, Princeton doesn’t allow you to submit a preliminary “Form 1” (unless you are using common app). My question is, how do they establish a file for you if you haven’t submitted the entire princeton application, with all the essays and such? I’ve also sent my SAT scores…are my scores and audition tape just swimming around in some “Miscellaneous” pile?

Thanks,

Sheldon

are u ED’ing?

it really makes a difference right now. they prioritize EDs more.

to pk12313, I am ED Princeton, so they how they process the material I’ve sent before submitting the main application?

chao, dont worry. as soon as something with your NAME, BIRTH DATE, and SCHOOL LOCATION comes in, they make a file for you.

If your file already exists, they just add new the stuff to it.

so basically, all the material you sent in earlier will be sitting in one folder, into which your main app will go later

I was inside the admissions office this weekend and saw all the file systems. They have them in this machine that when they punch in certain information it moves your file up and the admissions officer can take it out. I wouldnt worry, their filing is very precise and dependable.
