Not at all. It just means either someone has not contacted you yet or not enigh interviewers. Having an interview or kit has not bearing on your applications

DS received an interview notification last night.
Still no interview (Texas) and friends in the same school got interview. Do they send out invite in a batch or I am pretty much done? Thanks
You might receive one in a later wave; typically (as far as I know in most TX cities), they have a big wave from the end of February-ish to the beginning of March. There are sporadic ones depending on alumni too.

Yes, Princeton attempts to interview all applicants. D23 got an interview last year just days after submitting. That was one of her best interviews. She enjoyed the conversation thoroughly. Good luck to your daughter!
Thanks for the info. D24 had interview last weekend and was not impressed. Interviewer got her name wrong and was a bit difficult on meeting location. Def the worst interview experience of the process. Princton is certainly not high on her list (which is good because it is a likely rejection). We are glad we are coming to the end of this although once it is done it will be bitter sweet because that means DD is about to leave us.
Sorry to hear about her interview experience. Best wishes to her while she navigates this process. It’s definitely an interesting experience for both students and parents. Yes, it will be bittersweet when she gets the acceptance she wants, which also means she’s leaving home. Once again, best wishes to your daughter!
Thanks. We may even consider having her pull her application as there are others in her school who are applying including a close friend. We were fortunate to get an early surprise acceptance last week for her to my alma mater which is very high up on her list. It is great to have a wonderful option that your kid loves early without going ED. Especially after REA deferral.

D24 loved her interview— I think they talked for almost an hour and she left feeling really good about it. I don’t think the interviews really have much of an impact on admissions, but she was accepted SCEA anyway.

My daughter did too — she was really stressed about getting into a good school.

when’s the last point someone can get an interview? i’m outside of boston so it feels like there have to be at least a few people in my area
