I assume we all already know this, but Princeton just sent an email announcing that decisions will come out March 27 at 7p.m. ET.
when did u guys receive the email from Princeton? (3:10PM ET for me)
3:07 PM ET for me
12:07 PST for me
oh no idk
fudge 3:12 pm et⊠well it was a high reach anyways
How does the time you get the email mean anything?
It probably doesnât mean anything whenever the emails went out
I hypothesize that first wave = accept, second wave = wl, third wave = reject
It could be by the program/school you applied to as well right? Mine was 3:07 EST, I applied engineering.
Why would they send the email at certain times based on your decision? It just doesnât really make sense. It is probably just so it doesnât crash when they send it all at once.
3:08pm EST
Some summer camps do this. I guess it doesnât really apply for university admissions, but weâll see
Oh interesting. Yeah I guess weâll see
arts and sciences
same, what college did u apply to?
Arts and sciences
I got it 3:11 pm estâŠ
Your hypothesis is incorrect. I have confirmed with Princeton that there was one, and only one, email batch sent. What the timestamp says means nothing. So letâs move the conversation forward
Guys, is there any data about how deferred students usually fare in RD? Does it even mean anything to get deferred? @skieurope could you ask Princeton for us haha /s
I got into Georgia Tech & UIUC as an intl engineering major, waitlisted at Notre Dame and UCLA, and rejected from MIT and JHU so far. Really starting to get scared for next week and I also need a bit of aid.
