I can’t speak specifically to the Princeton Admissions office but one that I do know after decisions are complete there is a 2-3 day verification process to make sure they have everything in order and that wrong information is NOT sent out - basically that students receive the correct status of their decision.
Maybe one of us should call to ask today though, as it is getting a bit late. Anyone want to volunteer XD
I’ll do it after I get out of school. What should I ask?
Don’t call, just wait
@GoTiger2000 seems like the smart idea but I want to know sooo badly
Honestly I don’t think it’s a bad thing to call. Because they haven’t clarified when decisions will come out, it’s totally justified to ask (in my opinion)
@mackyg maybe ask something general, like whether or not decisions will come out next week.
@mackyg I would ask them (politely) if they have set a specific date and time for the decisions to be released. Regardless of their answer to that question, also ask them how many days in advance they will be sending an email with instructions on how to check admission status.
Bruh all she said was that they’ll usually email you a few days before decisions come out
@mackyg I think we’d all really appreciate it if you told us what you are told on the call. Thanks for being the one to step up and do it!
She didn’t give me any new information. All she said was she could say that decisions will be out in mid-December and we should expect an email a few days prior
Oh well, nothing new Thanks again for calling @mackyg!
No prob @misad1892 happy to help
I’m telling you guys, we are getting an email on Monday the 12th and receiving our decision either Wednesday the 14th or Thursday the 15th.
Anyone wanna bet?
I bet Wednesday the 14th. I think it will be exactly the same timeline as last year.
I’m betting Thursday the 15th.
Hmm I think Wednesday is a better bet based on something I read about the admissions officers having a holiday party Wednesday night in an earlier post (not sure of the validity of the post but i have nothing else to go off of) also yale is usually the last “elite” to release their decisions and they come out on the 15th
Post #500!
Good luck everyone! I really wish all of us could be accepted.
@MissAnthropy That was me, but this is a perfect example of how things can spread and become false information.
The event they’re planning is THURSDAY night, not Wednesday night-- reread my post.
Also, you don’t need to believe me, but I was given this info by my GC, who used to work in Princeton admissions and still has friends there.
Hey as long as you used the Promotional Code: GOTIGERS2021 when you submitted your application you’re guaranteed admission.
