@college61728 besides Princeton:Yale,Brown,Cornell,JohnsHopkins, Northwestern,NYU,university of Texas,and Carnegie Mellon
i was just wondering but if princeton’s applicant pool really is dropping because places like stanford are pulling EA applicants away, why stanford i guess? what makes stanford so great?
Because of the entrepreneurial vibes at Stanford and it seems like much more fun than Princeton. People think that they can party and study in Stanford, while Princeton gives off a different impression. Let’s hope that the EA is smaller this year, fingers crossed. @GettingRekt
Wash U St. Louis, Brown, GWU, Vassar
i keep thinking…why is this thread so short??? really hope its a good sign
@nikuedu MIT and UChicago are both a fraction of the length of this thread, but I’m fairly certain applications increased for UChicago and likely for MIT. I wouldn’t try to read into number of CC users for applicant data. Our wait is almost over. Good luck!
Can someone name some good safety colleges?
^Depends on what you’re planning to pursue.
According to last year’s thread, the admissions notification date was sent Dec.11, why were some saying that they knew just two days before??
@oplurobha see i was confused about that too, my friend applied ea to princeton and i think he knew earlier about when the date was than two days earlier. Does anyone know what happened last year?
@oplurobha Weird! According to last year’s thread Princeton did email applicants the release date 5 days prior to the date itself. (Source, Post #1027)

However, Princeton’s Admissions site tweeted out the date only 2 days before, which is what caused the confusion:

Last year, an email was sent out on Friday notifying applicants that the release date would be the following Wednesday. If we’re working in terms of business days and assuming Princeton follows last year’s timeline, an email on Monday would mean that decisions will be released Thursday, December 15.
Omg I thought the tweet for a moment was for us before i read XD Thursday makes the most sense. Same day as yale then :bz
And same day as MIT
December 15th-3pm!!! Let the countdown begin!!
i just got the email it’s for sure on the 15th at 300 EST
I can corroborate the email from @GettingRekt
Yep! December 15, as I predicted 5 days…
Saw the email at 11:32. Finally we have something!
let’s all play the waiting game haha too bad i still have finals to be studying for
15th woohoo!!!
