So a friend of mine just got into Columbia… basically my whole friend group is already accepted into (or committed at) an Ivy or Stanford.
The pressure is REAL 
Yerp my friends are into Caltech, Uchicago, and Columbia!
Same, my facebook page has been flooded by acceptances ahhh
Only three people have been accepted to ivies from my school so far, which is weird because we typically send lots of kids there.
*Fingers crossed for an acceptance letter so I can do classics at Princeton! Good luck to everyone else!

At my school its really rare for students to go to ivy leagues and my sister was one of the few to go so my counselor keeps asking me everyday if ive gotten into Princeton yet and its so embarrassing. Hopefully ill have good new for her on friday haha
@supercilious I wasn’t able to go to Yale this year b/c some schedule conflicts, but I did go to Harvard last year as well as nationals :). I’m going to GA/FL in January, and I’m considering Duke, which is new this year.
sometimes i briefly think i have a chance and then i hear everyone’s accomplishments and im like lol nope nvm i’m getting deferred. but to the two classics people above me, thats rly freaking cool :3

HAHA I just noticed someone do this with one college on another thread, but everyone go to brownrejects.com and see where it directs you! Try other colleges too: vanderbiltrejects.com, columbiarejects.com, etc. it works for some of them!
@GettingRekt @misad1892 UChicago ED/EA applicants officially can view their admissions decision on December 19. Some people may know/believe they’re accepeted because of contact with athletics coaches and “likely letters”
With regards to the issue surrounding requests for first quarter grades just a few days before decisions are released, I remember reading on Harvard’s website that their admissions process is extraordinarily flexible, “allowing changes to be made till the day of decisions release”. Maybe the same applies to Princeton as well?
Under what circumstances does everyone plan to receive their decision? Alone/friends/family, at home/school/random public place, on phone/computer, etc.
