We now have less than 24 hours until the decisions come outā¦ Yay?
Though I obviously hope for the best, Iām slowly becoming more open to whatever is in store for me tomorrow. As an eighth grader, I had my heart set on going to Thomas Jefferson High School (for anyone whoās unfamiliar, itās this relatively prestigious magnet school for science and technology in Northern Virginia). When I ended up not making it past the second round, I was crushed. However, a few weeks later, my second-choice high school offered me a scholarship. I let go of my attachment to TJ and accepted. Now, almost four years later, Iām glad that I did. Looking back on my high school career, Iāve had so many rich experiences and met so many people that I wouldnāt have had if my original plans worked out. Princeton has always been my dream and I truly believe that itās the best choice for me, but there might be a school out there thatāll benefit me even more. At this point, Iām just giving it up to higher power (whether that be God, destiny, or a late-night coin flip in the admissions office).
TL;DR: Whatever happens tomorrow is the best thing for youā¦ Trust.

so when we go to check tomorrow, we can use the application portal (where we can check if our transcripts, scores, recommendations, etc.) or the link they sent us about a week ago right? i only ask because when i click the link they sent me, it takes me to the same application portal I have been checking for weeks

In what will be my final post before decisions (although I havenāt made very many posts to begin with), I wanted to wish everyone luck tomorrow. At the end of the day, around 82% of us wonāt get into Princeton, and in the end the process to ācull the herdā down to that lucky 18% is largely arbitrary. So, regardless of the outcome tomorrow, donāt let one collegeās decision define you. I am sure that you will all do amazing things, and I wish everyone here the best. Good luck, and go Princeton! ~:>
