<p>I chose option 5. However when it says that I may talk about “an event or experience that helped you define one of your values…”, can I talk about an event that did not happen to me/ I was not involved in?</p>
<p>I also chose that prompt, and the experience/event I wrote about didn’t happen to me. I basically wrote that even though this event didn’t happen to me it inspired me to blah blah blah… So I don’t think you need to be involved in the event you’re going to write about. Besides, how many 17/18 year olds have experienced life changing events already? </p>
