Princeton for Me?

Hi, I now have the most recent class rank from my guidance counselor. I will enclose the info again below.

South Carolina Resident
GPA: 3.67 (UW) 4.55 (W)
ACT: 28 (target score is a 32)

AP’s:
-10th APWH= 5
-11th APUS= 5
-11th APLANG= 3
-12th APBIO
-12th APGOV’T

Other Academic Info: Honors classes all the way.

Test Info: Probably one more of each (maybe 2 ACT’s) - I assume that if I achieve my 32, that the low SAT score will become less relevant…

So, do I have the chops to go to Princeton, or should I try and get my Ph.D. there?

I would say Ph.D

hey, fellow south carolinian! where in the state are you from?

UW GPA is extremely low for P-ton, if you’re Asian or white. What’s your ethnicity?

^
Is UW GPA more important than Weighted? RIs a 3.8 sufficient for an Asian? What about for a Native American?

UW GPA is generally more important than weighted since schools have different weighting systems.

3.8 still is a little on the low side for an Asian. Still, the application needs to be weighed as a whole; they’d be a likely admit if they were, say, a Siemens finalist with a 3.8 GPA.

It really depends for a NA; the application has to be weighed as a whole.
