<p>Did anyone else receive a personal letter sometime in November inviting you to consider Princeton and then a large packet the next week? Is this a good sign?</p>
<p>I did in the Fall, but my letter seemed very generic. When did you receive it? Before or after you applied?</p>
<p>I think most applicants who signed up to be on Princeton’s mailing list get the letter and the packet, so I don’t believe there’s much weight behind the gesture.</p>
<p>yeah. I totally wish it meant something, because I got TWO packets!</p>
<p>That being said, I really don’t think it has any weight haha. Especially if I got two copies of the same thing.</p>
<p>Lol, yeah, I got two packets as well, but the only reason I think that happened is because I was on both Princeton’s mailing list and then a rep came to my school and we filled out cards again. But, yeah, i don’t really think it’s personalized.</p>
