Princeton Native American Population

Hello all! I was just wondering why Princeton’s Native American population has been so small as of late. Is their Native American applicant pool extremely small? Or do they just not accept a large number of Native Americans? Thanks for all the help!

Is PTon’s NA population smaller than peer schools? It’s always been small – same with its peer schools too. DMouth has a special outreach pgm. NA applicants are very rare across the board

According to the most recent Common Data set available for each school, Princeton currently has 6 Native American students, and Dartmouth has 94.

This question made me wonder about the NA population at other colleges, so I checked the Common Data Set for Stanford (71 NA students) and Cornell (52 NA students).

There are likely a few more Native Americans than 6 as some would have identified as “two or more races”.
