How is this book? This is the only book I have currently. Please don’t start about Barron’s; I know its merits and shortcomings.

Misc. question: would going through a Math I book help with Math II? Isn’t Math II just like Math I, only with more concepts and harder questions?

A Math I book probably won’t help the majority of test-takers taking math II, as they tend to intuitively understand the easier concepts (as tested in I). However, if you find that your struggling in level II because of simple problems (Usually around #'s 1-10), a Math I book may help you marginally.

Math II tests precalc whereas I tests Algebra/Trig/Geometry. If you feel that precalc is simply A/T with more concepts (and harder ones as well) then you are correct in your assessment. However, some view precalc as completely separate, and thus would argue math I isn’t like math II at all.
