The single choice means I can’t EA to any other private universities right?
That’s right. “Single”
So if I where to application to other privates EA ( Baylor/ND), I would need to apply to Princeton RD?
If you apply SCEA to Princeton, you could apply to the others regular decision. SCEA is not binding.
Or as you say…you could apply EA to other private universities and apply RD to Princeton.

Hoping for EA for daughter. She has 4.0 GPA unweighted and 35 ACT. AICE diploma with Distinction and scored 5’s on all AP tests. Nothing earth shattering on EC’s. VP of Robotic club, belongs to half a dozen clubs. Several school awards. Hoping to major in Chem Eng. Has interview scheduled this weekend with alum.

My counselor was contacted by Princeton today to request current grades for Senior year. She told me no one from Princeton had ever contacted the school for this before. No one from my school has ever gotten in. I realize this doesn’t mean much but she said she thinks it means they’re seriously considering. This happen to anyone else?

I think that is fair to say. It is not a tell per se, but Princeton commonly calls counselors with that request. Many schools, particularly those in trimesters, send them automatically so there is no call.
AFAIK if the counselor was contacted by Princeton AO during the early admissions cycle for grades, then either the student is accepted or deferred (most likely accepted). I may not be 
right but I’ve done my fair share of research the last few years so I am pretty sure

IIRC these reports don’t show in the system since it is not an actual requirement and therefore there is no checkmark on the portal.

My child’s school automatically sends them and they do not show in the portal.

Thanks. I have same in the portal. I am nervous to ask my counselor if she got any req or not.

There are 15 students in my school applying to Princeton SCEA and only 4 were asked to send quarter grades. Is that a bad indication for those who were not asked?
