<p>"The Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) today announced that American International Group, Inc. (AIG) will provide 50 full scholarships to academically advanced students in grades four through 11 from families with limited incomes to attend a three- week SIG program in 2007.</p>
<p>To qualify for the AIG Scholarship to SIG, students must score at the 95th percentile or above on any nationally standardized test or sub-test. If no testing is available or if test scores are slightly lower than the 95th percentile, students may submit grades and recommendations as alternative evidence of their giftedness. Students must qualify for free or reduced-fee lunch at their schools to be eligible for the scholarship."</p>
