Hey guys, I have been reading your comments since the start of the thread. I got ACCEPTED. I am so happy right now. I wish everyone who got deferred good luck for the regular round, it is not the end of the world.

Deferred, no Q1 request, yes aid email

I got accepted and I did get the Q1 request.

Congrats to everyone who was accepted!!!

Son got accepted and had a recent request for his AP scores. No request for Q1 grades… that I know of.

does anyone know what % is deferred vs rejected

Can anyone inbox me the link to the results thread? Can’t seem to find it.

About deferrals vs rejection vs acceptance at top Ivies fro Yale Daily News (2014): https://yaledailynews.com/blog/2014/01/24/early-programs-not-created-equal/

I was deferred. Which, I guess is just like a nice rejection – unless anyone has information to the contrary.

Accepted!!! And for future reference, I received a request for Q1 grades last week.

HOLY CRAP I GOT IN!!! BTW, I didn’t get Q1 request.

Got accepted from a country that only accepts 0-2 people per year. ECSTATIC

799 accepted, approx 2900 deferred, approx 1500 rejected - being deferred is still soemthing to be proud of

I was accepted (!!!); they asked for my Q1 grades.

My daughter was deferred. They asked for grades but the counselor didn’t send them until yesterday (!!). She’s very curious to know the percentage of deferred applicants who are ultimately accepted. @neuroman, Where did you see the info about approx 2900 deferred/1500 rejected? Thanks!

I got deferred :frowning: As I have been reading online, I have heard that there are “good” and “bad” deferral letters. Does anyone know if this is true of Princeton? If so, please lmk which is which
