Princeton University Class of 2022 SCEA Applicants Thread

Accepted and I got a Q1 grade request!

So…I got in. Someone in admissions is losing his/her job lol. Don’t think I got Q1 grade request, but that may be because my school automatically send Q1 grades…

@ArsenalMikey Congrats? Are you a Gooner? Are you from London?

On Princeton’s instagram it stated that they accepted 799 out of around 5400 applicants. I saw an old article that said Princeton defers anywhere from 50-65%. So, I did some rough numbers and that is what I came up with give or take a hundred or so.

What did your letter say? I wonder if mine is good?

Hmm that’s shaky reason to estimate the deferred v rejection. You shouldn’t base it off of something few years past because we had an 79.8% deferral rate two years ago…

Honestly, for me the worst thing about being deferred is having to wait to hear back from other universities.

Deferred. When will I know if I get rejected or accepted?

You are right. Like I guess it was just an assumption. What do you think the rates were?

@neuroman I have no idea but I’d assume about 80% like last time?

Accepted!
