Princeton vs. Cornell vs. Stanford

I am planning on majoring in psychology while taking the Pre-Med requirements. I wanted to know which school is the best choice for that plan. I’d like to know the pros and cons of their psychology programs & how well they are with acceptance rates to medical school. Also any current students in any one of these colleges feedback would be appreciated.
Please and thank you.

Unless you have excellent EC’s, grades, scores, and a strong hook, I think you should be worrying about getting in first.

^^^^^
This.
Princeton>Stanford>Cornell

My counselor said that I have a good chance of getting in tell me what you guys think though I don’t want to get my hopes too high:
-GPA: 102.38
-I’m ranked number 3 in my school
-I went to California (I’m from NY) for a science fair competition with the NAACP
-I volunteer at the YMCA helping youth combat issues in the community such as bullying & self image

 • I have been a part of the christian seekers club, photography club, math team, track team, year book club, I am the director of my school’s senior musical production, and I am the president of the National Honor Society

The only thing is SATs which I have a 1980, however I took the exam again and I am awaiting for the results of the November 5th SATs to be released.

Your SAT would put you in the lower 25% of students.
I’m assuming you’re black, which helps your chances.

You have a chance to get into one (if your SAT scores increase), but with the uncertainty in admissions getting into all three is unlikely. Sometimes the schools decide for you when you only get accepted into one top school (even if other equally selective schools reject you).

From my experience, guidance counselors do not know anything.

I agree with nina1228. You have about a 23% chance into getting into ONE of the three, using some arbitrary formula that I made up

This made me laugh

Cornell is significantly easier to get into than the other two, but the 1980 on the SAT makes all these schools fairly big reaches for you (Princeton + Stanford very high reaches). In terms of prestige, they are all pretty close but Princeton probably has a slight edge over Stanford, which in turn would be higher than Cornell.
