Princeton vs Udel-mech eng

Would welcome opinions on this one. DD has been accepted at UDel w/ full ride in mechanical engineering. She has also been accepted at Cornell and Princeton. Cornell is not offering enough financial aid, so is not in the running at this point. Princeton is very generous, but it certainly isn’t free (around $7K with add’l work study required). I know that Princeton has the superior engineering program, but is it that much superior? Will it mean any financial advantages or opportunities in her first job? She is also very passionate about music and writing - I could see her switching majors, possibly.

I’ve posted on Princeton thread, but thought comments might be more objective on this forum. Would welcome any comments, thanks.

I’d say Princeton. Even though its a little more, but not much by ivy league standards, I think you would regret giving up a chance to study at Princeton, especially if she is considering switching majors, because Princeton has so many strong programs. Even though people say where you go to school doesnt matter, I believe having a degree from Princeton will always catch an employers eye.
