I am currently in the Air Force. However, I will be separating on the 29th of September. My plan is to attend school full time. The government will be paying for 36 months of school, along with BAH(Basic Allowance for Housing)for the area code I am going to school in. My main curiosity is would being prior military help my chances of getting into the school I want? I am 21 and have no degree, however through my tech school and BMT I’ve accumulated about 30-ish credits. My high school transcript is by no means impressive, average at best.

In the sense that being prior military can make up for mediocre high school performance, yes, it can help. Also some colleges are more “veteran friendly” than others.

Which school, or schools, are you considering?
