<p>What really is the difference between getting in off either list? Is it near impossible to get into a department off the normal waitlist?</p>
<p>I got into CIT (ECE), waitlisted for SCS, but can only stay on the normal waitlist due to my acceptance into CIT. I truly do want to get into SCS above all else, but I realize there is the potential to double major w/ ECE. I’m not sure, though - the advantage or priority vs normal waitlist may be a large deciding factor, especially for a competitive department.</p>
