<p>How does it look for an Ohio student to be applying regular decision? I’m from Ohio, and want the best chance to get into the honors program. My unweighted GPA is a 3.3. If I apply priority, then this will be my final GPA. If I apply regular decision, then I have a chance to pull up my GPA, maybe to a 3.5. (My unweighted GPA is a little over 3.7). I will also have a chance to submit an art portfolio.</p>
<p>Is it worth waiting for regular decision, or will that hurt my chances? Will priority increase my chances?</p>
<p>Or in other words,</p>
<p>Is it better to apply priority with a slightly lower GPA, or wait to apply to regular with a slightly higher GPA than the slightly lower GPA?</p>
