I’m not listed as existing; neither is H. Seems odd since our house is in my name, but it’s fine with me if I’m not all over cyberworld.

H is in there, but not the rest of us. Our house is worth $1 million+ too (I wish), he has elderly parents (both are actually deceased) and he’s not interested in politics (except that he is, very much so). He apparently also “enjoys shopping”, which will be news to him. Our house is accurately pictured - it’s right from Google maps - although they have the name of our town and the actual house number wrong.

Sites like this don’t really bother me, since the basic info is easily available to anyone who really wants to find it out, assuming you’re listed in the phone book in the first place.

Ok, this is a baaaaaad web site.

I do not appear on this site, although my stepmother – who had the same name as I do, with a different middle initial – does, and also a woman my age with the same name who lives in Oregon. But I am not on here.

However, when you enter my name in Google, you get over 400 listings for me – the real me. And I do have phone, house, electric, etc., all in my name.

If you really want to get spooked, try [People Search - Find Public Records at PeopleFinders](http://www.peoplefinders.com/)

There, it even provides your age, and the people you live with.

[Spokeo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Spokeo - Wikipedia)

Says I’m a Virgo (not) and my house is more than a mil too (way way not)

I am immediately putting my house on the market for $1M!
I use these sites in my work sometimes. You can find SO much out about people.

It says my house is worth over a million and my neighborhood is middle class also. But my husband’s page says his house is worth only $600,000! Explain that to me, lol.

My husband and I are both listed as Hispanic, although neither one of us is even the tiniest bit Hispanic. Our last name doesn’t even sound Hispanic. Anyone else have the wrong Ethnicity?

Thanks, that worked. Lol, for what it’s worth. Privacy seems to be obsolete now.

THis site: [The Official WhitePages - Find People for Free](http://www.whitepages.com/) has my age right, but one of my children seems to have turned into someone with a different name and gender. Not quite as intrusive as the last one, but much harder to delete your info. It asked me for my address (including zip code) from 20 years ago. I guessed wrong. My choices are now to either call during business hours, download a form and mail it back, or use a credit card to identify myself (they promise it won’t be charged LOL - no, they’ll probably just post it to my “profile”

Like you’re going to provide your credit card to one of these sites? Why not just mail them the keys to your house?

I’m not on either of those sites. Guess I just don’t have anything public enough to count.

My husband is listed as female. I can assure you he is not!

I’m in there, though my husband isn’t. It says I’m “in a relationship” (don’t have a Facebook account or anything similar, so don’t know where that came from) and have no children (now where did those kids go?). It also can’t guess my gender but - get this - says that I have no interest in politics! Which is true, but I do vote in every election, so - how’d they know that? Weird stuff.

My husband and I both live at the same address, but we are single. Surprisingly, we are dog owners, I didn’t know that. I have TONS of hobbies…such as, I love football and am into knitting! (SO unlike me)

Our teenage daughter is “in a relationship”, otherwise, her only distinguishing feature is her lack of interest in politics.

What a weird mix of correct and wacky facts.

Just a mom…that is hilarious!

LOL! My house is $! mil +, too (way not either), but then it lists my neighborhood as “below average” (not either). It has me older than I am and with no children. Also lists education as h.s. (I have a Ph.D.). Not very accurate, especially since some of it is actually correct on my Facebook page. And actually the photo from Google is actually taken from our house up the street as opposed to being “of” our house.

This is totally hilarious!

I looked at the photo again and I could see our dog in the backyard ! Holy mollie! That’s where the $1M value is coming from! LOL!
(And my H enjoys shopping. This will be big news to him :D)

Neither I nor my husband come up. I’m surprised he doesn’t come up - he’s in the regular phone book.

I filled in the remove profile yesterday for Spokeo and today it’s gone so the removal tool does work.
