Private liberal schools in Texas?

<p>I’ve been searching, but I can’t seem to find even one private liberal college in Texas. Most private schools in TX seem to be religious. Are there ANY liberal, secular type private colleges in TX?</p>

<p>Are you looking for a liberal arts college, or a school where the student body is primarily liberal?</p>

<p>SMU, TCU and Trinity have old religious affiliations, but their student populations are probably similar to most Texas public universities. Rice is not very religious.</p>
