<p>I’m planning out taking 10,000 in private loans. It’s only a one time thing for this year. I don’t plan on taking out private loans again after this one. But I will still be paying off federal loans that I got through the school.</p>
<p>My question is, who has experience with private loaners? I am going to attend Northeastern University as a freshman this fall 2009. I looked up certified private loaners on simpletuition and a few hits that I got were from PNC, CitiAssist, and SunTrust Bank. So far, PNC seems to be the best deal right now.</p>
<p>Has anyone ever borrowed from PNC? Or any other private loaner? What can you tell me about them? I know that there are horror stories from SallieMae. Anything similar to that for these other loaners?</p>
