My son goes to a very competitive independent school in the boston area that sends lots of kids to top schools. Last year, she had a 3.6 average. This years, thanks to major health problems first semester, her GPA slipped to a 3.0, but his grades are much better this term so hoping it will go to a 3.3 at least! He takes the most advanced courses offered this year, but next year, he will not be taking honors language or science --but will be taking 2 science courses. He took his PSATs and did very well–took them while sick–can’t remember exact scores but in 98% percentile. Also took bio ssat and got a 740 after freshman year. He is a musician, will be president of a club next year. His school doesnt do class rank or gpa. What are his chance of getting into an ivy==he does lots of community service also.

You probably need to look below ivies. The high school can give the best ideas based on past years.
