Private schools Covid waivers

@cityran Yes, I am talking about our local day school. However I can see how its confusing, because this is a forum for BS.

Thank you all for your replies. Here are a few other key points I should mention:
This is a local day school, different then boarding.
ALso, before this contract was implemented, the school held
-senior graduation ceremony (all VERY strict county guidelines followed)
-a smaller version of their elementary summer program
-fall sports have been practicing since Aug.
NOT ONE COVID positive case.
I feel this shows families have already been following guidelines.

I understand schools need families to sign covid liability waivers, No issue with that at all! School absolutely needs to protect themselves.

Families whose students play sports or any extracurricular activity ( 96% of students), also, are required to sign waiver of liability, (for any and all injury), including covid.
THen why both waivers?
Besides the fact, there is no in person learning.
