Pro shoppers - Need help with Vitamix purchase

I rarely have problems with selecting the goods I use, but I am out my comfort zone here. I am buying my parents a Vitamix cult machine for their anniversary. Some recommendations have been directing to a 5300 or even 5200. I am more inclined to go with a 750 or 7500. Some also recommend the taller containers and others the opposite.

Any opinions? What to pick and what to avoid?

Gracias!

I bought the Classic 5200 kit at Costco about a year ago. They had the best price that I could find - well maybe it was about the same price as Amazon but unlimited easy return policy at Costco. Only negative is the overall height when the container is on the unit --too high to sit on the counter under an upper cabinet typically. Definitely get the 64 oz container. Other ones are too small to make a full batch of something and the larger container can also do small amounts.

The machine is so easy and simple to use. You don’t need any more bells and whistles (ie pre-progammed settings). Just make a couple of their recipes you will have the whole thing down. There are hundreds of additional ones on the Vitamix website.

I never thought I’d spend $400+ on a blender but I don’t regret the purchase. My husband and son love it too.
