Probably a stupid question,

but still:

If I’m majoring in Journalism at a college’s School of Communications, but minoring in German at the college’s School of Humanities, does that mean I have to complete BOTH the education requirements for the communications school AND the humanities, or just the first one since I’m majoring in it?

After all, they’re pretty different.

The School of Communications requires 120 credits, with 75 percent of them as liberal art credits.

The School of Humanities has a general education requirement with history, math, science, foreign language, requirements.

The college itself does not have an overall requirement, besides academic standing.

sorry I can’t help you; I would think that you would just have to complete the GER of your major, not your minor but I wouldn’t be sure. This subject might be better posted in the college majors section of CC.

You need to ask the journalism and School of Humanities deans at that college.
